Drive Movie Reviews, online, megavideo, download

There is no doubt in my mind that the units will be remembered as one of the best films from 2011. It will also be remembered as the film that really introduced the world to director Nicholas Winding Refn. To put it simple: Drive is amazing.

Waste of time Refn nothing to inform you that the movie is about to see has a unique style of his own as the film opens with a synthesizer score hit a fluorescent pink cursive font of the title begins to roll Ryan Gosling immediately called in cruise around a mood for Los Angeles. Refn sure that you know in advance that you will see a movie that is obsessed with being so cinematic as possible. You can hit the jump to read my full review.

Disco-poster-Ryan Gosling-goslingRyan plays an unnamed character known simply as "the driver". During the day, work a stunt pilot in films and in a garage, but at night, moonlight as a getaway driver for hire. The opening sequence of the film introduces us to the way it works and has been helping two robbers escape a robbery. Refn choose to use this action sequence, not only to introduce us to this mysterious character and his incredible driving skills, but also to show how the style of action film will be for the rest of the film. Refn shows how much can be achieved through minimal dialogue, exaggerated sound design, editing, perfectly synchronized, and the perfect shot compositions and camera moves for tight as we can.

The plot of the player is quite deliberately dipped in black tropes of pulp and film. Gosling plays a brooding quiet guy who does not want trouble, but keep the difficulty in finding it when he tries to help his new neighbor (Carey Mulligan) and his family out of some trouble with the underworld. To go into detail about the film's story would spoil the way the plot keeps you amazing film and make you feel tense as you continue to see Gosling snowballing problems as he continues to try to do good.

Disk could have been an entertaining action movie in another standard instructor hands, but the direction Refn lifts the film to an incredible degree, and it is easy to see why he won the prestigious award at the Cannes Film Festival. Absolutely every single shot in Drive is specially selected to ooze style. There is not a single shot or camera movement that is wasted, and who does not look like much.

Refn not trying to make a "naturalist" movie at all. His characters are almost always half covered in shadow, they will always be on the right side of the frame to make the image so powerful that it can be, his Los Angeles is the kind of Los Angeles, found only in films (It feels like every day shots have a palm tree in the web somewhere) and it will randomly choose to use a jump cut or some slow movements in a scene to emphasize a mood or a particular action. All this combined with the fantasy film electro-pop soundtrack and Cliff Martinez with excellent note synth create one of cinema films in recent times. A scene with a person just walking down a hall is just as memorable and give you goose bumps as many as one of the action scenes of the film.

disk-image-Christina-hendricksWhat is also exciting for the film is the fact that the work of authorship, which continues to explore themes that interest him, and not just a director trying to make "cool action movies hard." although it, too. Refn two previous films (Bronson, Valhalla Rising) to explore the beauty can be found in violence and violent men, and Refn to continue this exploration with the unit. It is no coincidence that the place of films Refn chooses the most moving and beautiful in the same room, and literally seconds before one of the most brutal and violent scenes of the film. Gosling figure "Driver" is located perfectly close to Valhalla Rising and Bronson One Eyed is the name of the person in terms of solitaire that only come alive when they are driven to violence. It is an art that can be found in their cruelty, and to ensure that Refn points with breathtaking scenes of extreme violence.

One of the genius and Refn exciting things is that he is one of the few directors who can make fun movies that also happen to be more to them than the "cool movie." His film work in both directions, but they are definitely going to improve, especially below the surface. It 'entirely up to you, if you want to read it or not. Drive works as "bastard cinema" and "art cinema", and that is all because of talent as a director Refn.

I will also make the film a great injustice if I did not write on the casting. Refn, in another stroke of genius decided to cast excellent actors in small roles very sensitive. By doing this, each actor brings something to each role, and makes each character shine when they are on the screen. Christina Hendricks, Ron Perlman and Oscar Isaac can only be a handful of scenes, but each scene is high because of what they bring to the table. Gosling and Mulligan provide a solid performance and courage Refn decided to tell their story through the shared silence and watch scenes from long-term dialogue. This is the actor's credit that they are able to establish and so many emotions between the two of them, without ever really having a "big scenes", as they would in n ' matter what other film.

disk-image-Ryan Gosling-Nicolas-resolution refnThe whole group of actors is great, but the two actors who really shine and almost steals the film and Bryan Cranston Albert Brooks. Cranston plays the boss during the day Shannon Gosling and his partner in crime in the night. There is a level of charm and despair Cranston brings to the character that makes you instantly like the guy. There is also a subtle quality Cranston father brings his scenes with Gosling, who is also his scenes and moments stand out.

I have a strong feeling that the performance of Albert Brooks' as the violent mob boss who is his work as a pizzeria in a little something about when you drive to open later this year in September. Brooks, who has certainly played the type, time seems to have the role of his life, and appears on the screen. His boss is funny, angry, very violent, intimidating, but very comfortable. Brooks cast as a bad movie could be Refn the most creative, inspired choice, and could be its best.

Drive is a masterpiece. It 'very exciting to work on the director, who has turned the promise of his earlier films, and has the form, what could be his best film yet. And 'cinema at its best, and it is a film that hits every note perfectly. Rarely has a film that is this good.

Rating – A+
